Summer 1922. Nick Carraway is Jay Gatsby's neighbour, a mysterious millionaire who holds parties in his house.
Of course, I knew the story before reading the book. I have watched the movie that I love so much! I am in love with Gatsby for a while, because of Leonardo Dicaprio, of course! The movie is perfect, the dresses, the setting, everything! But the book is... wow! Fitzgerald's writing is stunning. The way he wrote the story is so original and amazing. There are a lot of quotes that I want to write everywhere! In the book, Gatsby seems more mysterious. I love the fact that Nick is the narrator. It is not in my habit to read books with a narrator who is not the main subject. Of course Nick is very important in the book but the title is The Great Gatsby and the narrator could be Gatsby. Do you know what I mean? Whatever, if you haven't read this book yet, read it! It is a classic to read at least once in your life, I promise! And look at my picture, that Alma classics edition is beautiful. I am so glad to have that book. Well, last order : READ THE BOOK DARLING!
